SF OB surf

The surf has improved 100% overnight.  Winds are out of the ESE and surface conditions are glassy with waves in the 4-6ft range (WSW-SW).  Shape isn’t super clean but its better than its been in weeks.  No need to drive anywhere.

TIDES:

03/05 04:43 am 6.13 ft HIGH
03/05 12:09 pm -0.17 ft LOW
03/05 07:45 pm 4.43 ft HIGH
03/06 12:03 am 3.22 ft LOW

Surf cleaning-up

For the last couple weeks, the surf at OB has been dismal.  I did manage to get a fairly good session in last Friday but that window shut fast.

Right now the surf is ridable.  If this were the east coast, there’d be 100 + guys in the water.  Just don’t swallow the water and wear all the rubber you have.

Tomorrow is calling for south-easterly winds and calmer conditions. Looking forward to it.

See you out there!

Real Estate Activity in the Sunset

Multiple offers on SFH’s in the Outer Sunset could mean we’ve reached bottom.  I just sold a 2 bedroom home (46th btw Lawton & Moraga) down the street from where I live and we had to battle with several buyers from a pool that has been circulating the neighborhood.  I know this because we put offers on two other homes and lost out to higher bids. My clients are happy with the home we found so all is good.

If you are thinking about putting an offer on a home or are selling in the Outer Sunset, know that there are serious buyers ready to pounce on a home if the price is right.

As of 9/5/08, 39  homes (2-3 bed) have sold with a median home price of $630,000.
